StepWake does not create an account, run advertising, use third-party analytics, or collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Information used on your device

StepWake uses alarm permission to schedule alarms and Motion & Fitness permission to count steps after an alarm rings. Alarm settings, step progress, streaks, and preferences are processed and stored locally on your device. The home-screen widget reads a limited copy of this information through Apple’s App Group storage on the same device.

Purchases

Apple processes StepWake Pro purchases. StepWake reads Apple’s signed purchase entitlement only to decide whether Pro features are unlocked. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Sharing

If you choose “Share this morning,” iOS presents a share sheet. Nothing is shared until you select a destination and confirm it.

Retention and deletion

Your app data remains on your device until you remove it using iOS controls or delete the app. Purchase history is retained by Apple under Apple’s policies and can be restored using your Apple Account.

Children

StepWake does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
